Interim School Finance Manager

Location: London
Contract: Immediate start for 3 months
Pay: Daily Rate

We are supporting a provider of Special Education to recruit for an interim Finance Manager. They are looking for someone to join them immediately for 3 months, paid on a daily rate. They are open to hybrid working models.

As Finance Manager, you will:

  • Lead and develop the central finance team.
  • Provide strategic financial advice to senior leaders.
  • Manage trust-wide budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
  • Produce consolidated management accounts and financial returns.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and statutory requirements.
  • Support payroll, cash flow, procurement and audit processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement across finance systems and internal controls.
  • Work closely with school leaders and budget holders to support effective financial planning.

  • A recognised professional accountancy qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA, ICAEW or equivalent).
  • Multi-Academy Trust experience.
  • Experience managing complex budgets and leading finance teams.
  • Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills.
  • A collaborative leadership style and commitment to continuous improvement.
