Interim Senior Financial Analyst

Senior Financial Analyst – Oracle EPM Transformation Programme

About the Organisation

A large, complex and forward-thinking organisation seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to support its major finance transformation programme. With a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement, this role will drive data-driven decision-making through the implementation of a new enterprise performance management (EPM) system.

The Role

  • Play a key role in designing, building, testing, and implementing a new Oracle EPM solution
  • Provide high-quality financial analysis to support strategic decision-making across the organisation
  • Work with large, complex financial datasets, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial reporting
  • Collaborate with both finance and non-finance stakeholders to:
    • Gather requirement needs
    • Translate them into system and reporting solutions
  • Act as a subject-matter expert, supporting users and resolving system or reporting issues
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of:
    • Finance processes
    • Controls
    • Reporting capabilities
  • Support project delivery through:
    • Testing
    • Validation
    • Post-implementation support activities
  • Build strong working relationships across the organisation and with external partners

Key Requirements

  • Qalifed accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) or equivalent experience in a similar role
  • Demonstrable expertise in financial data, reporting, and analysis within a complex organisational environment
  • Proven experience on finance systems or transformation projects, including:
    • EPM
    • ERP
    • Planning tools
  • Strong understanding of finance processes, controls, and accounting principles
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to:
    • Influence
    • Challenge
    • Engage effectively across the business
  • Confidence in interpreting complex data and translating it into clear, actionable insights
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, project-driven environment, with a proactive and resilient approach
