Interim Statutory Accountant | 6-Month Contract
We are seeking a qualified Interim Statutory Accountant to join a leading finance team on a 6-month contract. This role will focus on the preparation and delivery of statutory accounts for UK and international entities, ensuring compliance with IFRS, UK GAAP, and local regulatory requirements while supporting year-end audit activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare statutory financial statements under IFRS and UK GAAP
- Produce accounts for multiple legal entities
- Manage external audits and year-end reporting
- Prepare technical accounting papers
- Support tax reporting and balance sheet reviews
- Ensure compliance with Companies Act requirements
- Maintain accounting policies and statutory reporting documentation
- Support group reporting, acquisitions, and process improvements

About You
- ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
- Strong statutory reporting experience within a complex or multinational environment
- Excellent knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP
- Experience preparing accounts from trial balance through to sign-off
- Strong audit management and technical accounting skills
- Advanced Excel capabilities

Desirable Experience
- Big 4 / Top 10 audit background
- Multi-entity reporting and group consolidations
- Listed or multinational business environment
- Experience with SAP, Oracle, Workday, OneStream, Hyperion, BlackLine, CaseWare or similar systems
