Starfish Search is supporting a Local Authority in the North of England to appoint an Interim Waste Services Technical Manager to support the implementation of new food waste collection requirements.
Key Responsibilities: Lead preparations for new food waste collection requirements Provide technical advice on waste services and compliance Support service planning and implementation Manage risks, issues and dependencies Work with internal and external stakeholders Develop policies, procedures and guidance Report progress to senior leaders

About You: Experience within Local Authority waste services Strong knowledge of waste legislation and policy Experience delivering service change or improvement Strong stakeholder management skills Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
