The Role
Woods Bagot (part of the 7C Network) is seeking an experienced and visionary Lifestyle Interior Design Leader to drive excellence and innovation within our lifestyle (residential and hotels) sector. This is a unique opportunity to join a global design studio renowned for its:

As the Lifestyle Interior Design Leader, you will:
Key Areas of Responsibility
Practice Leadership and Management
- Lead the successful delivery of projects from inception to completion, including:
- Design team coordination from briefing, space planning, concept, detail design, documentation, tendering, and site close-out process
- Collaborate with clients, consultants, and internal teams to deliver integrated, high-performance design solutions
- Establish and deepen client relationships and identify new project opportunities
- Partner with the Business Development (BD) and Marketing teams to prepare proposals for new projects
- Cultivate a culture of design excellence in interior projects
- Uphold exceptional client service while providing mentorship to other designers
- Develop and review fee proposals, budgets, and financial projections
- Encourage the strategic use of technology for design, presentations, and production
- Oversee design presentations, documentation, and quality control across all project phases

Design Leadership Duties:
- Conduct thorough client research to shape responsive design solutions
- Clearly and effectively communicate design intent to clients in compelling ways
- Ensure creative, unique design solutions align with client requirements and goals
- Lead design presentations in consultation with consultants to meet timelines and budgets
- Ensure graphic representations and construction documents accurately reflect design intent
Business Development & Marketing
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to secure new projects
- Collaborate with other Woods Bagot offices to expand opportunities from Global Corporate clients
- Work closely with Studio Lifestyle Sector Leaders to:
- Prepare fee proposals
- Edit or draft relevant sections of proposals
- Foster team motivation and continuous professional development (e.g., site visits, lectures, workshops)
- Champion innovation within the UK lifestyle interiors portfolio
- Strengthen Woods Bagot’s position as a leader in hotel and residential interior design
Staff Development
- Mentor, coach, and motivate the team
- Drive initiatives like Lunch & Learn sessions, site visits, and professional workshops
- Encourage design excellence through continuous exploration, training, and feedback
About You
You are a highly motivated, creative, and resourceful leader who thrives in a collaborative environment. You bring:
- Bespoke solutions grounded in research, design expertise, and industry experience
- Precision in space planning and a keen eye for detail and aesthetics
- Charisma, communication skills, and a professional inspiration during presentations

Required Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a closely related field (or equivalent international credential)
- 5+ years’ experience in Interior Design
- Demonstrated track record of:
- Leading projects and multi-disciplinary teams to success
- Securing new business opportunities
