Role Description
This full-time, on-site Interior Designer role is based in Newcastle upon Tyne. The Interior Designer will develop design concepts, prepare drawings and presentations, and coordinate all aspects of project delivery from initial brief through to completion. Day-to-day tasks include space planning, selecting finishes and FF&E, preparing construction and detail drawings, and collaborating with architects, contractors, and suppliers. The role involves meeting with clients to understand project requirements, producing design proposals that reflect a luxury aesthetic, and overseeing implementation to ensure quality and alignment with the design vision. The Interior Designer will also maintain project documentation, manage timelines, and support the broader design team with creative input and technical expertise.

- Demonstrated proficiency in Interior Design and FF&E selection, including finishes, furnishings, and accessories.
- Strong Space Planning skills with the ability to create functional, aesthetically pleasing layouts.
- Knowledge of Architecture principles and coordination with building design and structural elements.
- Ability to produce and interpret Construction Drawings and detailed design documentation.
- Relevant qualification in Interior Design, Architecture, or a closely related field.
- Experience with design software, e.g. CAD, and presentation tools.
- Attention to detail, strong visual and aesthetic sense, and ability to deliver luxury design solutions.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work on site with clients and project partners.
- A full driving license is essential.
