Interior Designer (Maternity Cover)

Location: Chelsea, London and Harrods concession)
Role Type: Full-time (Fixed-Term Maternity Cover)

About The Baby Cot Shop

The Baby Cot Shop is a luxury baby and children's furniture brand, boutique, and interior design studio based in Chelsea, London, with a concession in Harrods. We specialise in handcrafted nursery furniture, bespoke nursery interiors, luxury bedding, and children's décor, creating beautiful spaces for families around the world.

We're looking for an enthusiastic and client-focused Interior Designer to join our team on a maternity cover contract. This is an exciting opportunity to work on bespoke nursery and children's room projects while gaining experience with a luxury interiors brand.

About the Role

As our Interior Designer, you'll manage bespoke nursery and children's interior projects from the initial client consultation through to completion. You'll work closely with clients to understand their vision, prepare design concepts, source furniture and décor, coordinate suppliers, and ensure every project is delivered to an exceptional standard.

This role combines creativity with strong organisation and client relationship management. You'll also support the commercial side of the design process by preparing quotations, following up enquiries, and helping convert bespoke design projects.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
