About The Practice

Our client is an established AJ100 architecture and interior design studio known for delivering dynamic, human-centred environments across the workplace, education, and sports sectors. With offices across the UK and a collaborative, multidisciplinary structure, they combine design innovation with technical precision to produce spaces that balance creativity, performance, and social value.

Their London team is growing and now seeks an experienced Interior Designer to join their team. The practice values thoughtful design, teamwork, and open communication — offering an engaging environment where designers can shape projects from concept through to completion.


About The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a creative and technically strong Interior Designer to take ownership of design concepts and project delivery. You'll work within a multidisciplinary team alongside architects and consultants on projects of varying scales and complexity.

You’ll contribute to all stages of the design process — from early concept development and spatial planning to detailed design, specification, and construction coordination.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and present creative design concepts and schemes
  • Prepare detailed design packages, specifications, and FF&E documentation
  • Work collaboratively with architects, consultants, and clients throughout all RIBA stages
  • Participate in client meetings and presentations
  • Ensure all design work complies with regulations, sustainability standards, and client requirements
  • Manage design documentation using Revit and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Support junior designers through mentoring and design reviews

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architecture
  • Minimum 4+ years of professional experience in a UK studio environment
  • Proven experience in the Large Scale or sports sectors
  • Strong Revit skills; proficiency in Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) essential
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities
  • Knowledge of UK Building Regulations and design standards
  • Confidence in managing multiple projects and presenting to clients
  • A proactive, collaborative mindset with strong attention to detail
