Job description Position: Interior Plant Maintenance Technician Location: Brentwood Contract: Full Time, Permanent Hours: 40 Hours per week, Monday to Friday Salary: £29,200 Reporting To: Team Leader The Role Working as a Interior Plant Maintenance Technician, you will carry out maintenance of tropical plants within a wide sector of businesses, ensuring the best possible service is provided to our ever growing customer base. This opportunity is for someone looking to join a busy, fast paced business where you will be working with a friendly and welcoming team. Your main duties will include: Watering, feeding and pest control of live plant displays Replacing dead, dying or overgrown plant displays Maintain artificial plant displays Assist with plant display installations Assist with seasonal installations Ensure all maintenance dockets and documentation are completed Comply with relevant health and safety Building good supplier and customer relationships Be mindful of possible sales opportunities Qualifications & Experience: Full UK drivers licence Excellent verbal and written communication skills Able to work as part of a team Plant knowledge would be advantageous Qualification in Horticulture is desirable but is not essential Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous however full training will be provided As part of your role, you will be required to; Always act in a professional manner as a representative of the organisation. Comply with all relevant health and safety requirements Ensure that the clients are always completely satisfied Initiate suggestions to improve the organisations performance Complete timesheets and other paperwork and ensure all is handed in promptly This Opportunity is for someone looking to join a busy, fast paced business where you will be working with a friendly and welcoming team.
