Position: Interior Plant Maintenance Technician Location: Sussex Contract: Full-Time, Permanent Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday) Salary: £29,200 per annum Reporting To: Team Leader

The Role

As an Interior Plant Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining tropical plants across a wide range of business environments, ensuring our customers receive the best possible service. This role is ideal for someone who is looking to join a fast-paced, friendly team in a leading UK interior and exterior planting sector where progression and development are actively encouraged.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Watering, feeding, and pest control of live plant displays
  • Replacing dead, dying, or overgrown plant displays
  • Maintaining artificial plant displays
  • Assisting with plant display installations and seasonal projects
  • Completing all maintenance dockets and documentation
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Building strong supplier and customer relationships
  • Identifying potential sales opportunities

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Full UK driver’s license
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Desired but not essential:
    • Qualification in Horticulture
    • Prior experience in a similar role (full training will be provided)
