Are you an Electrical Design Engineer looking to develop your career on projects that help build more sustainable and resilient infrastructure?

Our client is a well established environmental and engineering consultancy delivering innovative solutions across the water, infrastructure and environmental sectors. Due to continued growth, they're looking to appoint an Intermediate and Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join their multidisciplinary team, supporting the delivery of projects that make a real difference to communities and the environment.

The Role

Working as part of an experienced engineering team, you'll contribute to the delivery of Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation (EICA) designs from concept through to detailed design and construction. You'll work on a wide variety of infrastructure and environmental projects, collaborating with engineers across multiple disciplines while continuing to develop your technical expertise.

What You'll Bring

  • Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Experience designing industrial or infrastructure electrical installations.
  • Knowledge of low voltage power distribution, lighting, switchgear, control systems and associated electrical services.
  • Experience using design software such as Trimble ProDesign (Amtech), DIALux, Revit or similar.
  • Good understanding of BS7671 and current electrical design standards.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work across multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Experience within the water, utilities or environmental sectors would be advantageous.
  • Working towards IEng or CEng status with the IET is desirable.
