Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer Responsibilities
- Design and deliver electrical services on projects across a range of sectors with duties covering all aspects from RIBA stage 0 to 7.
- Delivering innovative, sustainable solutions that really work and are beautifully integrated with the architecture and structure.
- Build on your initial professional development, supplementing existing knowledge with new learning to deliver electrical designs on projects.
- Carry out site monitoring.
- Participate in client and design team meetings.
- Contribute to the initial training and support of graduate engineers.
- You will work under the guidance of Senior or Principal Engineers.

Experience
- A relevant degree qualification.
- Working towards, and possibly ready to apply for, chartered status.
- Experience working with digital design tools such as BlueBeam, Revit, and ProDesign.
- The ability to think creatively, applying a considered and rigorous approach to both design and delivery.
- Experience through a graduate programme in electrical design working for a UK based MEP consultancy.
- You will have a strong understanding of electrical engineering in buildings.
- Will be self-motivated and capable of working well under pressure.
- A strong desire to communicate and work collaboratively with others, both internally and externally is essential.
