Description Role Title: Intermediate Full-Stack Developer (Azure Cloud) Location: Dublin, Ireland or UK (Hybrid) Department: Application Modernisation & Enterprise Integration About Codec Codec is an award-winning digital transformation company. We are growing our "Pro Code" team and looking for motivated developers who want to master the Microsoft Cloud stack. This is the ideal environment for a developer with a few years of experience to accelerate their career, working alongside Principal Architects on large-scale enterprise projects.
The Role We are looking for a capable Intermediate Full-Stack Developer to join our delivery squads. You are the engine room of the project. You will be responsible for developing high-quality, testable code for public-facing portals and internal business applications. You will work across the full stack—building responsive front-ends in Angular or Blazor, and robust back-ends in C# on Azure. This is a role for a learner-doer; someone who can take a technical specification and turn it into working, polished software.

Key Responsibilities Key Responsibilities
Development & Delivery
Feature Build: Develop scalable web applications using the Microsoft UI stack (Razor/Blazor) or Angular 15+. Back-End Engineering: Build and maintain REST APIs and background services using .NET C#, Azure Functions, and Azure App Services. Database Operations: Write efficient queries and handle data operations for Cosmos DB (NoSQL) and SQL Server.
Quality & Testing
Code Reliability: Write robust unit tests to ensure your code is reliable and bug-free before it hits the QA team. Defect Resolution: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defects and performance issues in existing applications. CI/CD Participation: Engage with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipelines to ensure smooth delivery of your features.
Collaboration
Team Work: Collaborate with Solution Architects and Senior Developers to understand requirements and refine specifications. Growth: Actively participate in code reviews to learn from senior peers and improve your own coding standards.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Required Skills & Experience
Development Experience: 3-6 years of experience in web application development. Core Stack: Strong proficiency in C# .NET and experience with REST APIs. Front-End: Solid working knowledge of Angular 10+ OR the Microsoft UI Stack (Razor/Blazor). You should be comfortable with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Cloud Basics: Exposure to Azure infrastructure (App Services, Azure Functions) is highly desirable. Database: Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases. Testing: Experience writing unit tests (e.g., xUnit, NUnit, Jasmine).
Location & Eligibility
Hybrid Working: Codec supports hybrid working; however, on-site working will be required where expected by customers. Right to Work: Candidates must be currently located in Ireland or the UK with existing Right to Work approval.
