We're working with a well-established, forward-thinking construction consultancy that is continuing to grow across the Northwest. They are now looking to appoint an Intermediate - Senior Building Surveyor to join their collaborative Manchester team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious surveyor who is ready to take the next step in their career, working across a diverse portfolio of projects within the education, healthcare, residential, commercial, and public sectors. You'll enjoy a varied role combining professional building surveying services with project delivery, while being given the autonomy to manage your own workload and develop long-term client relationships.

The Role
As an Intermediate - Senior Building Surveyor, you'll be responsible for:
- Delivering a broad range of professional and project-led building surveying instructions
- Managing contract administration from inception through to completion
- Preparing specifications, schedules of work, and tender documentation
- Carrying out condition, defect, measured, and dilapidation surveys
- Producing detailed technical reports and providing expert advice to clients
- Advising on refurbishment, maintenance, repair, and improvement projects
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships while identifying opportunities for repeat business
- Supporting and mentoring junior surveyors, including APC candidates where appropriate
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional client outcomes

About You
To be successful, you'll ideally have:
- A degree in Building Surveying or a related discipline
- MRICS qualification or be working towards chartership
- Around 4+ years' consultancy experience, with the ability to manage projects independently
- Strong technical knowledge across both professional and project work
- Excellent report writing, communication, and client-facing skills
- A proactive approach with strong commercial awareness
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
