Summary
Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP is looking for an Environmental Analyst Intern to be based remotely with occasional travel into the London office where possible. Willkie is an elite international law firm of approximately 1,200 lawyers located in 16 offices in six countries.
The Environmental Analyst Intern will work with our Environment & Sustainability team. The intern will be responsible for identifying and assisting in executing plans to reduce the Firm’s environmental impact. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in an Environmental & Sustainability career path. Interns will also have the ability to communicate in a courteous and professional manner, adapt to changing priorities, and maintain confidential information at all times.
This is a great opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in a law firm environment. The ideal candidates should have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must be willing to commit 12 to 15 hours per week, for a 6-month internship. The pay will be hourly, in line with London living wage (£14.80).

Responsibilities
- Assists with monitoring, measuring, and reporting on performance metrics to assess effectiveness of our sustainability program.
- Oversees data collection and data upload from a wide range of sources (energy, transport, waste, food services, etc.) using our Sustainability Software Platform, aka Environmental Management System (EMS).
- Supports all processes required for completing accredited environmental certifications, ratings, and self-assessments including: CDP Global and Ecovadis.
- Researches and identifies ideas and opportunities in support of expanded sustainability efforts.
- Supports Willkie Green by helping to facilitate and implement sustainability initiatives across offices (Earth Day, eco-Challenges, etc.).
- Contributes to internal environmental communications including intranet page and awareness events.
- Works with team members in the US and UK offices, supporting and contributing to environmental initiatives.
- Attends Law Firm Sustainability Network sponsored and other industry webinars.
- Other duties directed by the Supervisor/Manager.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Eligible candidates must be a current undergraduate student in Environmental Studies/Science, Sustainability, Geography, or related fields.
- Strong research and writing skills.
- Skilled in data analysis and interpretation.
- Knowledge and/or aptitude with various technology programs and platforms.
- Ability to work autonomously in remote locations.
- Ability to be proactive and recognize opportunities for improvement.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
Posted Salary Range
EUR €14.50 - EUR €14.50 /Hr.
