Overall purpose and main responsibilities and duties of the role
Provide the IT department with data analysis, cleansing, and preparation prior to building reports and dashboards using Power BI and AI tools.
Assist in developing AI use cases based on requests from London Branch users, aligned with the BPCE Group’s AI framework.
Main responsibilities and duties of the role
As part of the Europe IT Business Management team, you will deliver the following:
Data Management
- Gain an understanding of the various data and information sources used by the team.
- Analyse, cleanse, and prepare data for reporting.
Reporting
- Create data-driven reports, including Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) operational reports (e.g., ESG Reporting, IT Support KPIs).
Automation
- Automate reporting and transition manual workflows into streamlined solutions using Power BI, Power Automate, and Alteryx.
AI & Use Cases
- Proactively utilise AI tools to optimise team workflows, analyse financial data, and automate routine tasks.
- Develop AI use cases: proactively identify opportunities, design, and implement practical AI solutions.

Documentation
- Assist in maintaining and updating operational, financial, and procedural documents in line with Group standards.
Propose new reporting methods and continuous improvements
- Design innovative reports and dashboards.
- Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
Reporting Line
- Provide timely progress updates to the Head of Europe Business Management.
Review of Work
- Participate in weekly and monthly work reviews with the Head of Europe Business Management.
Key Stakeholders / Liaison
- Liaise regularly with the CIO and other IT Heads (GMC, Infrastructure/Production, Risk & Security).
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Technical & AI Skills
- Strong proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and the MS Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps).
- Experience using various AI tools to develop use cases that support data cleansing, analysis, report writing, and routine automation.
- Prior experience with Alteryx is highly desirable.

Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field (a Master’s degree is an advantage).
- Prior foundational experience (through internships or academic projects) in Data Analytics, Finance, or Investment Banking is beneficial.
Personal Attributes & Problem Solving
- Sharp analytical capabilities with keen attention to detail and a passion for diagnosing and resolving complex data or system behaviours.
- Self-motivated with a committed, flexible, and team-oriented mindset.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills to collaborate effectively with diverse CIB teams.
Language Requirements
- Professional proficiency in English (both written and verbal).
- Proficiency in written and spoken French is an advantage, as the role requires working closely and liaising with the Paris Head Office on AI initiatives.
