Intern, IT Projects Co-Ordinator
Location: Jimmy Choo Head Office, London
Reports to: Senior Manager - IT Security, Compliance & Operations
Overall Purpose of the Role
This internship provides an excellent opportunity for a university student to gain hands-on experience supporting technology and business projects within a global luxury retail organisation. Working alongside IT, Finance, Legal, business stakeholders and external suppliers, the intern will assist in coordinating projects, tracking activities, and supporting day-to-day IT operations.
The role offers exposure to a wide range of technology initiatives, including IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, digital transformation, business applications, vendor management and operational improvement projects. The successful candidate will develop practical experience in project management, stakeholder engagement, IT governance and business operations.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Support the planning and coordination of IT projects and operational initiatives.
- Monitor project activities, milestones, risks and dependencies, escalating issues where appropriate.
- Assist with project documentation, status reports and governance materials.
- Organise meetings, prepare agendas, record actions and follow up on outstanding tasks.
- Coordinate communication between IT teams, business departments and third-party suppliers.
- Support change management and user adoption activities for new technologies and processes.
- Help manage project schedules, task tracking and action logs.
- Assist with supplier and contract administration, including renewals and service reviews.
- Support budgeting activities, purchase approvals and software license management.
- Work with Finance and Legal teams on project-related documentation and approvals.
- Participate in presentations and project updates for leadership and steering committee meetings.
- Contribute ideas for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
- Assist with IT governance and change management processes.

- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Management, Project Management, AI or a related field.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Teams).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
