Marketing Partnerships Intern

Anew role within the Brand and Marketing department at ATP in support of its growing partnerships area

This hands-on, fast-paced role involves working within culture marketing—collaborating with platforms, Creators, and Rights Holders to identify and execute joint opportunities.

The internship will be union based in the London office with regular weekend work aligned to the tennis calendar. Successfully candidates will report to the ATP Tour’s Senior Manager, Marketing Partnerships.


Responsibilities & Duties

Marketing Partnership Strategy & Execution

  • Support the global roll-out of Marketing Partnerships projects, working with key platforms (TikTok, Spotify) and talent partners
  • Maintain and update the ATP Creator database, assisting with Creator searches and vetting based on project briefs across the ATP ecosystem
  • Distil relevant knowledge and resources from partners for application to ATP players and tournaments, collaborating with internal teams to facilitate distribution

Creative & Operational Support

  • Assist in creating decks and presenting reports for key workstreams
  • Contribute to the planning and delivery of the "On Tour With Creator Programme" at Nitto ATP Finals (November)
  • Help organise Creator engagements abroad, managing:
    • Travel schedules
    • Itinerary planning
    • Development of onboarding documents
  • Collaborate with Brand & Marketing teams to execute content from Marketing Partnerships initiatives and special projects
  • Work with Licensing and Commercial Partnerships to benchmark best practices in engaging with talent during peak season moments

Content Creation & Ideation

  • Where applicable, pitch short-form content ideas aligned with:
    • ATP’s social media strategy
    • Narratives, trends, players, and tournaments

Qualifications & Skills

Essential Criteria

  • Passionate about culture marketing across:
    • Social media partnerships
    • Creator economies
  • Strong awareness of online culture, ideally with Creator engagement experience (platform-agnostic)
  • Strong written & verbal communication
  • Curious, proactive, and eager to learn new skills
  • Team player with a comfortable working style in fast-paced environments

Desirable

  • Undergraduate/graduate from a marketing, communications, or related discipline (not absolutely essential)
  • Music, gaming, sport, or other niche interest beyond tennis (acknowledging ATP’s broader cultural collaborative efforts)
  • Professional creativity that can upload process and aligned with creativity narratives
  • Experience in d_entries/distilling data or workflows across multiple stakeholders would be beneficial
