What You’ll Be Doing

  • Perform basic development activities, including the design, implementation, maintenance, testing, and documentation of data products.
  • Assist the Data Products Team in developing new content for data products, working on specific projects tailored to user needs.
  • Work independently on project research phases using online search engines, conduct data analysis with Excel, and import data into databases using Ansys Granta software.
  • Support the creation of new products by researching emerging areas, sharing findings with the team, and making recommendations for further review.

What You’ll Need

  • Currently pursuing an integrated master degree with year in industry placement in General Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field, ideally in your penultimate year of study.
  • Good knowledge of engineering materials and processes from a general engineering or specialized materials course.
  • Experience with Excel and a genuine interest in developing IT and data analysis skills.
  • Strong communication skills in written and spoken English.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with others in a geographically distributed team.
  • Good attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
  • Ability to learn quickly and work independently.

Preferred

  • Experience with FEA techniques.
  • Familiarity with programming languages for data processing (e.g., Python, MATLAB, Excel VBA macros).
