Main Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a portfolio of customer accounts, building strong relationships and ensuring exceptional levels of service.
- Identify opportunities to increase revenue within existing customer accounts through proactive account management.
- Work closely with External Business Development Managers to identify, qualify, and secure high-value new business opportunities.
- Support the onboarding of new customers, ensuring a smooth transition and positive customer experience from initial engagement through to first order.
- Assess dormant and underperforming accounts, proactively identifying opportunities to re-engage customers and generate additional revenue.
- Act as the primary internal point of contact for customer queries, updates, and issue resolution.
- Maintain regular contact with customers to understand their business needs, future projects, and growth plans.
- Support the achievement of individual, team, and company sales targets through effective account management and opportunity generation.
- Collaborate with the Order Processing Team to ensure orders are handled accurately and efficiently, following up quotations and commercial opportunities to maximise conversion rates.
- Maintain accurate customer records, pipeline activity, and opportunity tracking through the CRM system.
- Monitor account performance, identify trends, and provide commercial insights to support business growth strategies.
- Handle customer concerns proactively, maintaining a solutions-focused and customer-first approach.
- Champion a culture of customer excellence, continuous improvement, and commercial growth throughout the business.

Are you a driven, sales focused relationship builder who thrives on delivering impressive results?
At Quickslide, we're growing fast and looking for an ambitious Internal Account Manager to play a key role in driving sales growth, strengthening partnerships, and identifying new business opportunities. This is more than a traditional account management role – we're looking for someone who combines exceptional customer service with a proactive sales mindset. You’ll need to thrive on building relationships, spotting opportunities, and turning conversations into results.
Working closely with our External Business Development Managers, Order Processing Team, and wider business departments, you'll take ownership of a portfolio of trade customers, helping them grow their businesses while increasing sales across your accounts. You'll identify opportunities to upsell, reactivate dormant customers, and support the onboarding of high-potential new accounts.
You'll become a trusted partner to our trade customers, understanding their business goals and helping them maximise sales opportunities through our products and services. From nurturing long-term relationships to helping secure major new business wins, you'll play a substantial role in Quickslide's continued growth.
We're looking for someone who is motivated by targets, enjoys building strong commercial relationships, and takes pride in delivering outstanding customer experiences. The Necessary Skills, Qualifications And Experience Include
- Minimum 3 years' experience in account management, internal sales, business development, or a similar customer-facing sales role.
- Proven track record of growing customer accounts, generating sales opportunities, and achieving commercial objectives.
- Strong relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Commercially aware with the ability to identify opportunities and convert them into business growth.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and results-focused with a proactive approach to account management.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and strong time management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments and stakeholders.
- Positive, resilient, and customer-focused mindset.
- Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience within manufacturing, construction, fenestration, or related industries would be advantageous.
