Are you passionate about building strong customer relationships and providing exceptional service? Hambaker Pipelines is seeking a dynamic Internal Account Manager to join our growing sales team.

In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting and expanding our customer base, working closely with merchants and contractors across the UK.

As the primary point of contact for a select group of clients, you'll ensure they receive top-notch service and effective account management. Your role will involve building long-lasting relationships and making sure we remain their first choice. Hambaker Pipelines designs and manufactures high-quality products for the water and wastewater industries. We offer a wide range of products including pipelines, fittings, manhole covers, and more, serving both the utility and mechanical & electrical sectors.

This is a full-time, permanent position based at our Dukinfield office, with a hybrid working arrangement that allows you to split your time between working from the office and working from home.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in sales or account management, with the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • A proactive mindset with a strong desire to go above and beyond for your clients. You should be comfortable working with a variety of people.
  • Our team culture is collaborative and fun. We’re looking for someone who will integrate well into a supportive and dynamic team environment.
  • You’ll ask the right questions and actively seek out answers when needed.
  • Proficiency with IT systems like Microsoft Office (Teams, Excel, Outlook) is essential for the role. SAP experience is preferable but not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of customers, including contractors and merchants. You will handle inquiries, provide quotations, and follow up effectively to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Accurately input orders into the SAP system, managing the process from initial enquiry to payment – ensuring everything is error-free and completed on time.
  • Work closely with external sales teams to deepen customer relationships, identify sales opportunities, and enhance product knowledge.
  • Liaise with internal teams, including manufacturing, dispatch, and finance, to ensure smooth operations and prompt payment.
