Internal Account Manager
Internal Account Manager
Location: Hemel, London or Aylesford (Hybrid) | Salary: Up to £30,000 (£40,000–£45,000 OTE) + Benefits
We’re partnering with a leading IT solutions provider to appoint an Internal Account Manager to support a Senior Account Manager across an established customer portfolio.
This isn’t a cold-calling sales role. Instead, you’ll act as the key point of contact for existing customers, handling a range of responsibilities—from managing quotations and processing orders to liaising with vendors and distributors. Your focus will be on delivering an outstanding customer experience and earning long-term trust to drive account retention and growth.
You’ll also have the opportunity to identify upselling opportunities by introducing complementary products and services, allowing the Senior Account Manager to concentrate on acquiring new business.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
