Internal Account Manager (Thermoplastics, Elastomers & Ceramics)
Location: Office-based, Failsworth, Manchester (flexible to work one day per week remotely) Reporting to: Business Manager Direct Reports: None

Key Responsibilities
Reporting to a Business Manager, the Internal Account Manager (Thermoplastics, Elastomers & Ceramics) drives RBH’s commercial strategy across designated market segments in Europe.

Sales Development
- Deliver monthly sales & revenue targets in assigned regions and sectors.
- Identify, qualify & convert new business opportunities aligned with surfaces & abrasion applications.
- Build and manage cross-European relationships with:
- Manufacturers
- Formulators
- OEMs
- Processors (Polishing & abrasives industries)
- Work with the in-house marketing team to execute sector-specific growth plans.
- Launch and track marketing campaign performance supporting business development.
- Support lead generation across thermoplastics, elastomers, and ceramics sectors.
- Analyse market trends, customer feedback & application data to drive opportunities.
- Maintain disciplined CRM records, logging interactions by:
- Application sector
- Customer landscape
- Regional performance

- Provide monthly updates segmented by:
- Market segment
- European territory
- Pipeline status & opportunity progressions
- Align with Business Manager in commercial strategy reviews & planning sessions.
- Submit detailed reports on:
- Customer engagement
- Application insights
- Market intelligence
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with:
- Technical teams
- Marketing
- Supply chain
- Operations
Essential Requirements
- Degree in Chemistry or Materials Science (essential)
- Full UK driving licence (mandatory for travel and distribution logistics)
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills
- Commercial & technical expertise in plastics/elastomers industries
- Highly organised & proactive approach to account management
