Internal Audit and Risk Advisory Partner

Birmingham | £220,000-£300,000 Base + Bonus or Equity Package up to £400,000

Build something exceptional.

Some Partnership roles ask you to maintain an existing business. This one asks you to create one.

We're supporting a major international Accountancy firm that's making a significant investment into the Midlands. Backed by an established national Risk Advisory practice, substantial funding and full Board support, they're looking for an entrepreneurial Internal Audit and Risk Advisory Partner to establish and lead a flagship Birmingham offering.

You'll have the autonomy, investment and authority to recruit your own leadership team, shape the service offering and build one of the region's leading Risk Advisory practices.

The opportunity

Working directly with senior leadership, you'll:

  • Launch and lead a new Internal Audit and Risk Advisory practice across the Midlands.
  • Build and recruit a high-performing team across Internal Audit, Enterprise Risk, Governance, Controls, Technology Risk and Transformation.
  • Develop long-term relationships with FTSE businesses, large private groups, public sector organisations and leading not-for-profit institutions.
  • Create a market-leading proposition covering governance, assurance, risk transformation and internal controls.
  • Win new work through your own network and the firm's extensive client base and international referrals.
  • Build a business capable of generating £5m-£10m annual revenue over the coming years.
  • Represent the firm at board level, industry events and within the wider Midlands business community.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
