Description
Our Risk & Assurance team continues to grow at Scrutton Bland, and we’re now looking for a talented Manager to be part of our continued success. Whether you’re an ambitious Senior Auditor eager to step up, or an experienced Manager seeking a fresh challenge, this is a chance to make a real impact.
Working closely with a diverse client base, from not-for-profit organisations to commercial businesses across London and the Eastern Region, you’ll deliver insightful internal audits and advisory services that help organisations stay compliant, efficient, and forward-thinking, making recommendations that have a real impact on their business.

Key Responsibilities
Our Managers are the lead contact for a portfolio of clients and play a pivotal role in the team. You can expect to develop and maintain these relationships with our clients as well as having responsibilities for the following:

- Act as the primary day-to-day contact for a portfolio of internal audit clients
- Plan, manage and deliver risk based internal audits.
- Lead internal audit engagements from planning through to reporting
- Present audit findings and opinions to senior management and Audit Committees
- Review audit files and reports, ensuring consistent quality and clear value
- Supervise and support auditors during audit work, providing coaching and development
- Contribute to business development activity, including tenders and client meetings
- Work closely with senior leaders within the Risk & Assurance team to develop your management capability

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
The successful candidate will:
- Have at least three years’ internal audit experience, ideally within the not-for-profit, education, social housing, NHS or outsourced internal audit environment
- Have experience of leading internal audit assignments and supervising other auditors
- Hold, or be working towards, CMIIA, or be ACA / ACCA qualified, or qualified by experience
- Be confident presenting audit findings and engaging constructively with clients
- Be analytical, organised and comfortable managing multiple assignments
- Be prepared to travel to client sites across London and the South East with access to your own transportation when needed
