Senior Internal Audit Specialist / Head of Internal Audit

Core Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Compliance
- Own end-to-end SOX compliance for financial and IT systems, integrating it seamlessly with business operations.
- Develop and refine a multi-year internal audit roadmap, balancing financial, operational, and emerging risks.
Accountability & Execution
- Test and close risks—evaluate internal controls, scale remit coverage, and close control gaps with measurable outcomes.
- Shape the audit function—helper design half a rote process, embedding best practices in methodology, scheduling, and crashing discipline.
- Lead data-rich, narrative-driven audit reports that slice root causes, contain urgency, and unpack actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner closely with external auditors and management, translating complex findings into decisions—then track closure through to completion.
- Overcommunicate—be the trusted voice between audit, finance, tech, and leadership, ensuring alignment on priorities.
Innovation & Scaling
- Leverage AI or analytics where valuable to accelerate audit efficiency without sacrificing depth of insight.

Level Expectations
