Internal Audit & Risk Manager

About Aston Martin

At Aston Martin, effective governance, risk management, and assurance are fundamental to how we operate and grow. Behind every strategic decision is a commitment to doing the right thing, managing risk intelligently, and continuously improving how we work.

About the Role

We're looking for an Internal Audit & Risk Manager to join our Internal Audit & Risk Management team and play a key role in providing independent assurance across the business. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys understanding how organisations operate, building trusted relationships, and helping leaders navigate risk while driving positive change.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead internal audit assignments from initial planning and risk assessment through to fieldwork, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Independently assess key business risks, support the delivery of principal risk reviews, and contribute to the ongoing development of the annual audit plan.
  • Manage relationships with external co-source providers, oversee the delivery of audit work where appropriate, and support the development of team members through the line management of Internal Auditors.
  • Work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to help ensure audit actions are implemented effectively and that the business continues to strengthen its control environment.
  • Work closely with our second line Business Assurance team to support our internal control maturation programme.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
