This is an exciting temporary opportunity for an Internal Auditor on the south coast. The role involves conducting audits, ensuring compliance, and providing valuable insights to support financial and operational improvements.

This organisation is a well-established medium-sized entity that plays a vital role in the community. It is committed to maintaining high standards in its operations and is seeking a skilled Internal Auditor to support its Accounting & Finance team.

Description

  • Perform internal audits to assess compliance with organisational policies and regulations.
  • Evaluate financial records and operational processes for accuracy and efficiency.
  • Identify risks and recommend actionable improvements to mitigate them.
  • Prepare clear and concise audit reports for senior management.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure adherence to internal controls.
  • Support the Accounting & Finance team in enhancing financial systems and processes.
  • Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and ensure follow-up actions are completed.
  • Contribute to fostering a culture of accountability and transparency within the organisation.

Profile

A Successful Internal Auditor Should Have

  • A strong background in accounting or finance.
  • Professional qualifications or certifications relevant to auditing or accounting.
  • Proficiency in auditing tools and financial systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
