Job Title: Internal Auditor

Location: Broughton, UK

Work Type: Onsite


Job Description: We are looking for an Internal Auditor to join the Audit team in Broughton on a contract basis to provide sickness cover. The successful candidate will become part of a team of three Auditors, reporting directly to the Audit Manager, providing day-to-day support across audit activities and quality reporting. This role would particularly suit someone with a quality background who understands auditing, reporting, and production environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Internal Audit team with day-to-day audit activities.
  • Assist in the preparation of audit reports.
  • Take detailed notes during audit activities and meetings.
  • Write up audit findings alongside the wider audit team.
  • Support the Audit Manager and the existing audit team with reporting activities.
  • Contribute to maintaining high-quality audit documentation.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to support ongoing audit programmes.

Required Skills & Experience:

Essential:

  • Experience is preferred over formal qualifications.
  • Previous experience within a Quality environment.
  • Understanding of audit processes and reporting.
  • Experience supporting audits and documenting findings.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Ability to prepare accurate reports.
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team.

Preferred:

  • Understanding of a production/manufacturing quality environment.
  • Experience within quality assurance, quality auditing or related functions.
