Internal Communications Business Partner (Operations)
Our global financial services client is looking for a number of Internal Communications Business Partners to add both strategic and tactical weight to the newly restructured IC team at a critical time for the business as it integrates recent acquisitions.
Role Overview
The Internal Communications Business Partner (Operations) will support the customer-facing operational sites and will require someone to work some of their week at one or more of their UK sites: Gloucester, Manchester, and Glasgow, with occasional travel to HQ in Southampton.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as trusted partner to senior leadership, offering guidance and counsel
- Devise and deliver integrated communications plans to inform, engage, and support customer-facing staff, focusing activity on relevant and proven channels and with specific tailoring to those audience groups
- Shape business strategy into clear and engaging communications that foster greater understanding and engagement
- Work with colleagues across the People team, transformation programmes, sustainability, and external/corporate comms to ensure communications are aligned and support the fostering of a single company culture
- Use data and metrics to measure and improve the outcomes of your comms

About You
We’re looking for an experienced Internal Communications Business Partner or Manager with strong exposure to customer-facing populations wanting that next step, more responsibility, and greater autonomy. You will be a strong IC generalist with a track record of delivering real impact and outcomes to these audiences. A highly skilled comms professional, you will be a problem solver, a great stakeholder manager with strong commercial acumen and creative flair.

Role Details
This is an exciting role as part of a newly formed and high-performing IC team at a pivotal time in their growth journey. The role is offered on a hybrid basis, with regular time spent in their operational sites (Gloucester, Manchester & Glasgow), together with occasional travel to HQ in Southampton.
