Internal Communications Lead - Transformation (6 month FTC) - Part-time

Internal Communications Manager

Spotlight Sports Group

About the Role

Spotlight Sports Group is a global media and technology company dedicated to delivering trusted, customer-driven experiences in racing and sports betting. Combining 40+ years of heritage with bold innovation, our brand portfolio includes Racing Post, Pickswise, myracing, Free Super Tips, and international agencies ICS-digital & ICS-translate. We empower growth and engagement across the industry with over 400 employees worldwide, primarily based in the UK & Ireland.

We are seeking a dynamic, proactive, and highly organised Internal Communications Manager to lead our team communications, with a focus on driving our transformational change agenda. This is a fixed-term contract (6 months), part-time (3 days per week), with immediate or rapid (4–6 weeks) availability.

As the bridge between internal comms and change initiatives, you’ll collaborate with Programme Sponsors, People Partners, and the Transformation Management Office (TMO) to ensure seamless coordination, creative execution, and clear alignment across our global operations.

Responsibilities

1. Transformation & Change Communications

  • TMO Integration: Serve as the primary communications partner for the Transformation Programme Office and Programme Sponsors, translating complex project updates into engaging narratives for employees.
  • Campaign Delivery: Lead end-to-end change comms, from strategic planning to day-to-day execution.
  • Scheduling & Coordination: Maintain a master communications schedule to avoid overlap, maintain cadence, and prevent information overload.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
