Description: Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for connecting people and driving impactful communications? We are looking for a new member of the internal communications team to act as a trusted partner to our leadership teams and support the broader Marsh business across the UK.
This role is pivotal in shaping and delivering communications that align with our business priorities and growth plans, while championing initiatives that highlight the value of the newly expanded Marsh to colleagues and clients alike. Based in London, this hybrid role requires you to be in the office at least three days a week, working closely with diverse teams to ensure our messages engage, resonate, and inspire.
What can you expect:
- Serve as a strategic partner for leadership, crafting UK-wide messaging that supports business priorities and growth ambitions.
- Drive forward the self-service model for local communications, empowering teams to share relevant messages efficiently.
- Collaborate across Marsh Risk and Mercer to deliver clear, consistent, and engaging communications that keep colleagues informed and connected.
- Support the design and delivery of internal events such as live sessions, webinars, and engagement activities that foster a vibrant workplace culture.
- Use insights to help support the continuous improvement of our internal communications approach in the UK.
We will count on you to:
- Act as a communications advisor, partnering with leadership to align messaging with strategic objectives.
- Input into the internal communications editorial calendar, ensuring timely delivery aligned with business needs.
- Coordinate with content owners and stakeholders to develop and schedule compelling content across intranet, newsletters, emails, and digital platforms.
- Lead the planning and execution of UK-wide live events and partner sessions, ensuring high engagement and smooth delivery.
- Analyse communication metrics and feedback to recommend enhancements and maximise impact.

What you need to have:
- Demonstrable experience in internal communications, ideally within a complex, matrixed organisation.
- Proven ability to act as a strategic partner to senior leaders, influencing and shaping business-critical messaging.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong organisational and project management capabilities, adept at juggling multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Experience managing large-scale internal events and live sessions.
- Collaborative approach with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Creative mindset with the agility to tailor messaging for diverse audiences and channels.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a proactive and solutions-focused attitude.
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and a team player mentality.
What makes you stand out?
- A degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related discipline is preferred but not essential.
