Internal Communications Partner

This position is a 9 months fixed term contract

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping how we connect, inspire, and engage our people. As an Internal Communications Partner, you’ll work closely with senior leaders to bring our strategy to life through clear, compelling and cohesive messaging. You’ll act as a trusted advisor, ensuring communications are aligned to our purpose, resonate across the organisation, and create a shared sense of direction. You’ll translate complex strategic priorities into meaningful stories and engaging content delivered at the right time, through the right channels, and with real impact. From developing communication plans to creating high-quality assets and campaigns, you’ll bridge the gap between strategy and execution. You’ll build strong relationships across the business, gaining a deep understanding of your stakeholder areas to craft communications that drive engagement, encourage collaboration, and reinforce our key objectives. You’ll also play a key role in evolving our internal communications approach bringing fresh thinking, external insight, and continuous improvement to everything you do. This is a role where you can truly make your mark challenging the status quo, influencing change, and ensuring communications are at the heart of our culture and transformation journey.

About you

You’re a confident and creative communications professional who thrives on turning strategy into impactful, engaging content. You’ll bring:

  • A proven ability to translate strategic messaging into clear, effective communication plans that land at every level of an organisation
  • Strong experience partnering with senior stakeholders, building credibility and influencing outcomes
  • A natural storytelling ability, with experience creating high-quality content, assets and communication collateral
  • A deep understanding of the role internal communications plays in shaping culture, driving engagement, and supporting retention
  • Experience of using digital channels to develop and drive content that is engaging, accessible and relevant for colleagues, delivering clear and compelling communications to connect colleagues and the work they do with our purpose and strategy
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to tailor your approach, collaborate effectively, and build strong relationships across diverse teams
  • Curiosity and commercial awareness, using market insights and best practice to continuously improve and innovate
