Group Internal Controls Manager
FTSE PLC – Surrey (3 days per week + car + strong bonus)
Salary: £75,000 – £85,000
About the Role
Astrum Search is partnering with a leading international organisation to appoint a Group Internal Controls Manager for their Group Finance/Governance function.
This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced professional with strong SOX/ICFR know-how to help shape and enhance a global internal controls environment within a multinational business.

- Design, enhance, and embed a SOX-style internal controls framework
- Support risk assessments, RACMs (Risk Assessment & Control Matrix), and control testing
- Collaborate closely with finance, audit, and business stakeholders globally
- Review control deficiencies and drive remediation activity
- Assist in governance, compliance, and audit reporting
Requirements & Skills
- Significant hands-on SOX/ICFR experience
- Background in Internal Controls, Risk Assurance, or Internal Audit
- Strong understanding of financial processes and control frameworks
- Experience working with external auditors
- Professional qualification in ACA, ACCA, or CIMA (or equivalent)
