Internal Medicine Clinician – Lumbry Park Veterinary Specialists (Alton, UK)
We are excited to announce that Lumbry Park Veterinary Specialists is seeking an Internal Medicine clinician with a special interest in acute medicine/emergency care to join our team.
Role Details
- Position Type: 1-year fixed-term, full-time (4 days: Tuesday to Friday)
- Starting Date: Flexible, potentially as early as August 2026
- Ideal Candidate:
- Preference for a Specialist in Internal Medicine (Dip ECVIM-CA / Dip ACVIM) or a Specialist in Emergency and Critical Care
- Open to residency-trained clinicians
About the Role
You’ll contribute to a multidisciplinary team of:
- 7 internal medicine diplomates (ECVIM-CA/ACVIM)
- 1 emergency and critical care diplomate
- 3 internal medicine residents
- 1 internal medicine intern
- Specialist nurses in medicine

Key Responsibilities:
- Primarily handling urgent and emergency cases
- Assisting with chronic-elective cases
- Participation in an out-of-hours on-call rota for medical emergencies

Lumbry Park Veterinary Specialists is a specialist-led referral hospital near Alton, Hampshire, offering services across the South of England. Key services include:
- Internal medicine
