Hours: 9am-6pm with 1-hour unpaid lunch break. Two days required – either Wednesday, Thursday or Friday - 12-month maternity cover, beginning October 2026

About Us

Vet Oracle Telemedicine is a vet-to-vet advice service provided by a team of Internal medicine Diplomates with the help of Registered Veterinary Nurse “case managers”. In addition to advice, we mentor and educate vets to further empower them to provide the best possible care to their patients and clients. We are a close-knit team who communicate with each other through instant messaging and video calls throughout the day to ensure that we continue to feel part of the team despite remote working. We work to a very high standard ensuring that CVS vets are provided with thorough, evidence-based and detailed advice that enables them to understand how to proceed with their cases and to feel that they have learned something as well. We were recently awarded the CVS colleague award for “Outstanding contribution to Clinical Care Improvement” within the business.

We are looking for an Internal medicine Diplomate who is passionate about helping vets in practice. Our working hours are 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday. We do not work at weekends or out of normal working hours. We would need to have someone who is able to work the same day(s) every week as this allows for continuity of care as well as ensuring depth of cover for the service. To fulfil this role we are looking for someone to work two days on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday (either Wednesday and Thursday, Thursday and Friday, or Wednesday and Friday).

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Whilst one candidate is preferred, many of our specialists have hybrid roles enabling them to see their own cases for part of the week and join us here for the rest of the week. We are therefore very happy to consider flexible roles.

Most of our specialists are based in the UK, some in Europe, but we are keen to hear from you, wherever you are, as contractor agreements would be considered for non-UK based Diplomates. Becoming a member of the RCVS would be desirable although not essential.

This role provides an excellent work-life balance with fixed working times and no out of hours or weekend duties, all from the comfort of your own home. We have formed strong relationships with our clients who are highly appreciative of the excellent level of service that we provide.

We offer a highly competitive salary and a generous benefits package for employees including:
