Internal Only - Residential Child Care Worker

Residential Child Care Worker – Pebbles Care

If you enjoy working with children and have the resilience to deal with challenging behaviours—while still offering a caring and supportive therapeutic approach—we’d love to hear from you!

About the Role

At Pebbles Care, we are offering an exceptional opportunity for you to join our collaborative team and become an integral part of young lives. This role involves every aspect of home-based care, including:

  • Transportation: Driving children to/from school, appointments, and visits (a full UK manual driving licence is required)
  • Everyday support: Food preparation, household chores, and personal care
  • Enriching experiences: Fun-filled activities, outings, and holidays to build lasting memories

You will be a dedicated, full-time Residential Child Care Worker, averaging 56.4 hours per week (including sleepovers). Working within a close-knit team, you will provide tailored support to young people—either one-to-one or two-to-one—based on their individual needs.

Training & Development

During your induction, you’ll train with our Learning and Development team to understand our therapeutic care model. Support is also provided by our Psychology, Education, and Senior Management teams.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
