Internal Project Sales Engineer
Internal Sales Engineer – Project Solutions
This is an exciting opportunity for an Internal Sales Engineer to support the Flow Technology Projects Team in delivering specialist flow solutions into key global markets including Data Centres (HVAC), Food & Beverage, OEMs, and Engineered Package projects. The role focuses on supporting external Business Development Managers by managing customer enquiries, preparing detailed quotations, and providing technical and commercial support across valves, actuation, and engineered package solutions.
Working closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams, you will help drive sales growth through products and premium partner solutions. The role involves supporting projects through their full lifecycle, ensuring high levels of customer service, technical expertise, and operational excellence, while contributing to the company’s long-term growth strategy within specialist project markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical and commercial sales support to external Business Development Managers across the Flow Technology Projects Team
- Prepare accurate quotations, technical documentation, and certification packages to high standards
- Support existing and new customer accounts within direct sales channels
- Maintain and manage the Flow Technology supplier database
- Develop sales and margin opportunities across valves, actuation, and engineered package solutions
- Ensure accurate product pricing for both manufactured and purchased products
- Liaise with customers and suppliers to maintain up-to-date pricing and product information
- Deliver high levels of customer service and support throughout the project lifecycle
- Support growth in target markets including:
- HVAC/Data Centres
- OEMs
- Civil Contractors
- End Users
- Architects & Designers
- Promote products alongside premium partner solutions
- Contribute to operational, technical, and commercial excellence within the PBU team
- Ensure compliance with health and safety responsibilities in the workplace

Key Skills / Qualifications
- Strong technical and commercial understanding of valves, actuation, and engineered package solutions
- Experience in technical project sales and support environments
- Knowledge of flow control products and applications
- Proven ability to support sales growth and margin development
- Strong communication and customer relationship management skills
- Ability to prepare detailed technical quotations and project documentation
- Understanding of project lifecycle management and cradle-to-grave project support
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Commercial awareness with an understanding of terms and conditions for End User business
- Ability to work collaboratively across technical, operational, and sales teams
- Experience advantageous in industries such as:
- HVAC
- Data Centres
- OEMs
- Process Engineering
- Commitment to high professional standards and exceptional customer service
