Job Title: Internal Recruiter (12 month FTC) – Remote with periodic travel to Northampton Head Office

The Role: What You’ll Be Doing

The Recruitment team is undergoing a transformational enhancement, and you’ll be pivotal in shaping its future. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the full recruitment lifecycle for non-management roles (e.g., HGV Drivers, Branch Apprentices, Kitchen Sales Designers), balancing 20-25 vacancies at a time.
  • Sourcing and mobilising talent to build a robust candidate pipeline.
  • Collaborating with Regional Recruitment Business Partners to refine recruitment processes for efficiency and quality.
  • Driving innovative strategies to attract and retain top talent.
  • Supporting project transformations to redefine recruitment standards and candidate experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead hiring initiatives for non-management roles, from candidate sourcing to onboarding.
  • Optimise recruitment strategies: Improve sourcing methods, candidate experience, and hiring efficiency.
  • Enhance operational processes: Introduce tools/techniques to streamline recruitment flows.
  • Champion inclusion & compliance: Ensure fair, transparent practices aligned with legal standards and company policies.
  • Market insights & KPIs: Continuously refine recruitment strategies based on industry benchmarks and internal data.

  • 2+ years’ experience in recruitment (agency or in-house; regional/large-scale settings beneficial).
