Internal Junior Recruiter (12 month FTC) – Remote with periodic travel to Northampton Head Office

It’s an exciting time to join our Recruitment team as we embark on a transformation journey to further enhance and streamline our service!
As a Junior Internal Recruiter, this is the perfect opportunity to develop your in-house career. Supported by our experienced team, you’ll manage the recruitment lifecycle for a range of essential non-management roles, including HGV Drivers, Branch Apprentices, and Kitchen Sales Designers, balancing approximately 20 to 25 vacancies at a time.
You’ll work closely with, and learn from, our Regional Recruitment Business Partners to deliver an efficient, streamlined hiring experience. Alongside your day-to-day sourcing, you’ll get the chance to support our transformative projects, giving you fantastic exposure to how a major FTSE 250 business shapes its talent strategy.

What you’ll be responsible for
- Deliver the Recruitment Process: Manage the end-to-end recruitment for vital non-management roles, focusing on screening, scheduling, and guiding candidates seamlessly through the pipeline.
- Sourcing & Collaboration: Use job boards, LinkedIn, and internal tools to build talent pools, collaborating with hiring managers to understand their local needs.
- Candidate & Stakeholder Experience: Ensure candidates and hiring managers feel valued and informed with proactive, transparent, and timely communication.
- Continuous Learning: Support the wider team with market insights and project administration, using your fresh perspective to help us improve our processes.
- Diversity & Compliance: Champion inclusive hiring, ensuring the process is fair, transparent, and fully aligned with company policies.

Who you are
- Early Career Recruitment Experience: You bring 1 or 2 years of recruitment experience. We are highly open to agency backgrounds; in fact, most of our team started there! This is the perfect first step into an in-house role.
- Great Communicator: You know how to keep things clear, professional, and friendly, whether you are speaking with a candidate on the phone or updating a hiring manager.
- Organised & Eager to Learn: You can juggle multiple priorities, possess great attention to detail, and are excited to absorb knowledge from the wider team.
- Proactive & Resilient: You have a positive, can-do attitude, a relentless drive to find great talent, and the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Inquisitive: You aren't afraid to ask questions, challenge obstacles, and suggest new ideas to help us reshape our recruitment process.
