GB Inspection Systems Limited is a specialist UK manufacturer of Ultrasonic Transducers and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) equipment, supplying high-quality inspection solutions to customers across a wide range of industries worldwide.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an enthusiastic and organised Internal Sales / Administration Assistant to join our team.

This is a varied position within a busy manufacturing environment, supporting our customers and internal teams throughout the sales process. The successful candidate will become an important link between our customers, sales, production, and technical departments, ensuring enquiries and orders are handled professionally and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Your duties will include:

  • Responding to customer enquiries via telephone and email
  • Preparing quotations and processing customer sales orders
  • Liaising with customers regarding order progress and delivery updates
  • Maintaining accurate customer and order information
  • Supporting the sales process from initial enquiry through to completion
  • Communicating with production and technical teams regarding customer requirements
  • Assisting with purchasing and supplier communication where required
  • Providing general office and administrative support

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in sales administration, customer service, or an office-based role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A professional and friendly telephone manner
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to manage priorities
  • Good computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn

Experience within NDT, engineering, manufacturing, or a technical environment would be beneficial but is not essential, as full product training and support will be provided.
