Position Overview
We are currently seeking an Internal Sales Administrator based at Durham Gate, Spennymoor.
You will be a key member of the sales team focused on the sales of construction material products.
Responsibilities
- Deal with inbound enquiries from customers.
- Offer sales admin support to Territory Sales Managers.
- Price and chase/win orders within agreed tolerances.
To positively represent the Breedon brand, the Internal Sales Representative offers our customers an exceptional and professional service.
Key responsibilities:
- Ensure all phones are answered in a timely manner and enquiries are recorded.
- Raise quotations and price them within the tolerances agreed by the TSM responsible for the area.
- Add relevant notes to enquiries detailing any correspondence with the customer.
- Process order acknowledgments when POs are received and confirm via notes on Excalibur.
- Manage the Cash Sales Process, including recording data for the Purchase Ledger Team.
- Generate weekly reports for the Area Sales Manager, reporting:
- Key sales data,
- Significant enquiries,
- Actively seek and identify opportunities to:
- Sell additional products,
- Upsell on the initial enquiry received.
- Work proactively to identify:
- New or declining customers,
- Potential sites and opportunities.
- May occasionally be required to cover other departments.
