Based at our head office in Steventon, Didcot, we supply a comprehensive range of products including spray filters, manifold assemblies, tips, hoses, and maintenance consumables to trade customers, contractors, and distributors across the UK and internationally.

Role Overview
This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and commercially minded individual to join the QTech team in a dual-focused role combining internal account management with proactive business development. Working from our Welkin House head office, you will be responsible for nurturing and growing an existing portfolio of trade accounts whilst identifying and converting new business opportunities.
You will be a key point of contact for customers, providing expert product advice, processing orders, preparing quotations, and building long-term commercial relationships — all from our office environment via phone, email, and video.

- Manage and develop a portfolio of existing trade accounts, building strong long-term relationships
- Act as the primary internal point of contact for allocated customers, handling enquiries, orders, and after-sales support
- Proactively contact existing customers to review requirements, introduce new products, and identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities
- Prepare accurate quotations and follow up promptly to maximise conversion rates
- Monitor account activity and flag at-risk accounts to the management team
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate records in the CRM system
- Work with External Sales Representatives to support with sales administration
Business Development
- Identify and target new business opportunities within the spray equipment, painting contractor, and industrial maintenance sectors
- Research and qualify prospective customers through phone, email, LinkedIn, and other channels
- Develop and deliver compelling introductory communications and product presentations
- Achieve agreed new business targets and KPIs on a monthly and quarterly basis
- Work closely with the wider sales team to develop and execute targeted campaigns
- Attend relevant trade shows and industry events as required (occasional travel may apply)
Product & Market Knowledge
- Develop a thorough understanding of the QTech product range including filters, tips, hoses, spray accessories and USPs of spray machinery.
- Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and new product developments
- Provide customers with informed technical guidance to help them select the right products for their applications
Administration & Reporting

- Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting data within the CRM
- Produce regular activity and sales performance reports for the Sales Director
- Coordinate with internal teams (logistics, purchasing, technical) to ensure smooth order fulfilment and customer satisfaction
Person Specification
Essential
- Proven experience in an internal sales, account management, or business development role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly over the phone and via email
- Self-motivated and target-driven with a positive, can-do attitude
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage a busy workload across multiple accounts
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM systems
- High attention to detail and accuracy in administration
Desirable
- Experience in the spray equipment, coatings, painting, or industrial/trade distribution sector
- Knowledge of airless spray systems, filters, tips, or related products
- Experience using an ERP or order management system (e.g. Odoo)
- Track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets
Compensation & Benefits

- Base Salary
- £28,000 – £38,000 per annum, dependent on experience
