What You Will Do

As an Inside Sales Consultant, you will turn service technician leads into committed customers by quickly understanding their needs and producing clear, accurate quotes. You will keep momentum high through confident conversations, timely follow-ups, and a strong focus on securing orders while supporting the team in meeting shared targets.

What You Will Do

  • Work closely with the Inside Sales Manager and handle a queue of service technician leads.
  • Engage with customers to understand their requirements, prepare accurate quotations, and secure orders for labour and materials.
  • Support the wider sales function by contributing to team targets and overall business goals.

How You Will Do It

  • Make introductory calls to customers to identify needs, build tailored quotes, and close sales.
  • Produce accurate quotations using internal pricing tools and systems.
  • Liaise with suppliers to gather information, pricing, and product availability.
  • Deliver excellent customer service by managing expectations and providing regular updates.
  • Make timely follow-up calls to secure orders within set timeframes.
  • Complete general administrative tasks as required to support the sales process.

Must Haves

  • Strong computer skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and the ability to learn internal systems.
  • Confident and effective telephone sales skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to multitask and manage your own workload.
  • Strong organisational skills and a self-motivated approach.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Comfortable working to targets and meeting set KPIs.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous B2B sales experience.
  • Product knowledge in fire suppression, HVAC, or fire & security industries.
  • Experience producing quotes or working with pricing tools.
