About the Role
We are seeking an Internal Sales Coordinator to join our team as we establish operations in Wales. This role is ideal for someone with a robust background in order processing, customer relations, and administrative operations within electrical distribution.
Responsibilities
- Order and quotation management:
- Accurately process customer orders and quotations using internal systems.
- Documentation compliance:
- Ensure all documentation—PO’s, delivery notes, and invoices—is complete and compliant.
- Order monitoring & issue resolution:
- Monitor order progress and proactively resolve delays or discrepancies.
- Customer support:
- Be the first point of contact for customer inquiries, offering product information, pricing, and availability.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to support repeat business and long-term partnerships.
- Handle complaints and queries professionally, ensuring timely resolution.

Supplier coordination:
- Liaise with suppliers to confirm stock levels, lead times, and delivery schedules.
- Source alternative products when needed to ensure continuity of supply.

Logistics and dispatch coordination:
- Work with warehouse and logistics teams for timely dispatch and delivery.

Record keeping:
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, quotations, and transactions.

Support roles:
- Support the external sales team with account updates and documentation.
- Collaborate closely with the external BDM Sales Team and internal departments.

Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to the Quality Management System.
- Maintain compliance with Health & Safety Requirements.
Requirements
- A good understanding of electrical products and distribution processes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with ERP systems.
- High level of attention to detail with strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
