About the Role

We are seeking an Internal Sales Coordinator to join our team as we establish operations in Wales. This role is ideal for someone with a robust background in order processing, customer relations, and administrative operations within electrical distribution.


Responsibilities

  • Order and quotation management:
    • Accurately process customer orders and quotations using internal systems.
  • Documentation compliance:
    • Ensure all documentation—PO’s, delivery notes, and invoices—is complete and compliant.
  • Order monitoring & issue resolution:
    • Monitor order progress and proactively resolve delays or discrepancies.
  • Customer support:
    • Be the first point of contact for customer inquiries, offering product information, pricing, and availability.
    • Build and maintain strong client relationships to support repeat business and long-term partnerships.
    • Handle complaints and queries professionally, ensuring timely resolution.

  • Supplier coordination:

    • Liaise with suppliers to confirm stock levels, lead times, and delivery schedules.
    • Source alternative products when needed to ensure continuity of supply.
  • Logistics and dispatch coordination:

    • Work with warehouse and logistics teams for timely dispatch and delivery.
  • Record keeping:

    • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, quotations, and transactions.

  • Support roles:

    • Support the external sales team with account updates and documentation.
    • Collaborate closely with the external BDM Sales Team and internal departments.
  • Compliance:

    • Ensure adherence to the Quality Management System.
    • Maintain compliance with Health & Safety Requirements.

Requirements

  • A good understanding of electrical products and distribution processes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with ERP systems.
  • High level of attention to detail with strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
