Role summary
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Internal Sales Engineer to join our Internal Sales Team.
This role is responsible for managing inbound customer enquiries, qualifying leads, and delivering accurate and timely quotations to support revenue growth.
- You work closely with customers, external sales teams, and production colleagues;
- You will translate technical requirements into commercially viable solutions, ensuring quotes are correctly costed and aligned with manufacturing capabilities.
- You will play a key role in maintaining strong customer relationships, supporting order processing, and driving follow-up activities to convert opportunities into business.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a technical mindset and strong communication skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced engineering environment and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver high-quality service and results.
Your profile
- Experience in a similar internal sales, engineering, or commercial role (ideally 3+ years) and a solid technical understanding of engineering or manufacturing processes;
- Confident interpreting customer requirements and turning them into accurate quotations;
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers and internal teams;
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple enquiries, quotes, and follow-ups in a fast-paced environment;
- Good numeracy and analytical skills, with attention to detail in pricing and costing;
- Comfortable using IT systems/ERP tools and standard business software;
- Knowledge of (or willingness to learn) ISO standards and regulated manufacturing environments;
- Demonstrates a proactive, customer-focused approach with strong problem-solving skills;
- Familiarity with M3 Movex or similar ERP systems is a huge plus.
