We are a major international manufacturer of Ductile Iron pipe and fittings, and we are thrilled to announce our expansion into the UK market.
We are looking for a highly motivated, customer-driven professional to join our team in Telford in an office-based internal sales role. If you are a determined problem solver with a passion for building long-term relationships, we want to hear from you.
The Role
In this position, you will be the backbone of our UK sales and distribution operations. You will balance technical product knowledge with exceptional service to drive our growth.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Driving Growth: Proactively contacting new and existing customers to develop sales of our goods and services.
- Full-Cycle Sales Management: Processing orders, handling returns, managing pricing/quotations, and providing excellent after-sales support.
- Supplier Coordination: Liaising with suppliers to secure stock, agree on pricing, and manage deliveries directly to site.
- Team Collaboration: Working closely with external sales personnel and internal departments to align on customer requirements.
- Market Intelligence: Maintaining up-to-date product knowledge and identifying market trends.
- CRM & Admin: Keeping accurate records and managing documentation via our internal systems.

About You
You are an organized, IT-literate professional who thrives in a fast-paced distribution environment.
What we are looking for:
- Technical Aptitude: Experience in a distribution-based product sales environment (highly desirable) and strong IT skills (Excel and CRM proficiency).
- Communication Skills: An excellent telephone manner and the ability to negotiate terms and resolve concerns effectively.
- Professional Discipline: Self-disciplined, independent, and capable of working in a collaborative team approach.
- Requirements: A full UK driving licence and full clearance to work in the United Kingdom.

Location
This is an office-based role located in the Telford area. Occasional travel may be required.
