We’re looking for a motivated and customer-focused Internal Sales Executive to join our growing sales team. This role is ideal for someone early in their sales career who is eager to learn, develop consultative selling skills, and contribute to the success of Klipboard’s embedded payments solution, Klipboard Money.
You will support both new business and account management activities by identifying opportunities, engaging prospects, and helping drive adoption of our payment solutions within existing customer accounts. This is an individual contributor role with strong support from senior sales, account management, and customer success teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Qualification — Identify and qualify opportunities for Klipboard Money within our existing customer base and inbound prospect pipeline.
- Pitch and Close Deals — Present our offering to your prospect base and work tirelessly to successfully close opportunities.
- Sales Support — Work closely with senior sales executives to support the sales cycle, including discovery calls, product demonstrations, and proposal preparation.
- Customer Engagement — Build rapport with customers to understand their needs and highlight the value of embedded payments within their ERP workflow.
- Cross-Sell Assistance — Partner with account managers to identify upsell opportunities and help progress them through the pipeline.
- Pipeline Management — Maintain accurate records of activities, opportunities, and customer interactions within our CRM.
- Market & Customer Feedback — Share insights with Product and Marketing teams to help refine messaging and improve customer experience.
- Collaboration — Work closely with Customer Success to ensure smooth onboarding and positive long-term adoption of Klipboard Money.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
We don’t expect you to have years of experience—what matters most is your attitude, curiosity, and willingness to learn. The following will help you succeed:
- 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, customer service, or a related commercial role (preferably in SaaS, ERP, fintech, or B2B environments).
- Strong communication skills and confidence speaking with customers at different levels.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to manage your time effectively.
- Interest in technology, payments, or ERP systems (training provided).
- Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot is beneficial but not essential.
- Experience working with customers in wholesale, distribution, automotive, retail, or rental sectors is a plus.
