Internal Sales Person – Cambridge Branch

Job Description

As an Internal Sales Person, you will be the key connection to:

  • Provide effective management of existing customer accounts
  • Develop new business to meet Branch targets through an excellent sales service

Your role will include:

  • Delivering exceptional customer service (in-person, via phone, or email) to drive customer loyalty
  • Managing a live customer portfolio while proactively identifying and converting new profitable accounts
  • Acting as the first point of contact for key customer accounts
  • Understanding client needs, building rapport, and expanding relationships
  • Supporting the branch team, including Trade Counter duties and warehouse operations (order picking/packing) to ensure timely order fulfilment

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert-level sales support with a focus on customer retention and growth
  • Achieve individual and team targets through proactive outreach
  • Work flexibly under pressure to uncover business opportunities
  • Collaborate across departments for a seamless experience
  • Embrace temporal ownership—meeting deadlines, troubleshooting, and maintaining accountability
