Location: Great Bridge

Hours: 8am–4:30pm (one 8:30am–5pm shift per week)

Contract: 12 week Temp to Perm, Full Time (40 hours)

Salary: £27,000–£28,000

My client, a fast-paced and rapidly growing distribution business, is looking for an Internal Sales Executive to join their busy commercial team.

This is a key role where you’ll manage customer relationships, convert enquiries into orders, and play an active part in developing new sales opportunities. If you enjoy a mix of sales, customer service and administration, this could be an excellent next step.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow selected customer accounts to achieve sales targets
  • Handle all incoming enquiries professionally and efficiently
  • Build strong product and industry knowledge to support customers
  • Raise and process sales orders, purchase orders, quotations and invoices
  • Provide accurate quotations using up-to-date pricing
  • Follow up to secure new business and protect margins
  • Work closely with procurement to support buying activity
  • Liaise with internal departments to meet customer expectations
  • Resolve customer queries swiftly and professionally
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and filing systems
  • Suggest improvements to enhance processes and workflow
  • Ensure all work meets ISO9001:2015 and company standards
  • General administrative and ad-hoc support as required

  • Minimum of 3 GCSEs (including Maths and English at Grade C/4 or above)
  • Passionate about sales with a strong customer service background
  • Confident using Microsoft Word, Excel and other IT systems
  • Experience in a similar sales or internal account role is desirable
  • Experience in a distribution environment would be an advantage
