Location: Great Bridge
Hours: 8am–4:30pm (one 8:30am–5pm shift per week)
Contract: 12 week Temp to Perm, Full Time (40 hours)
Salary: £27,000–£28,000
My client, a fast-paced and rapidly growing distribution business, is looking for an Internal Sales Executive to join their busy commercial team.
This is a key role where you’ll manage customer relationships, convert enquiries into orders, and play an active part in developing new sales opportunities. If you enjoy a mix of sales, customer service and administration, this could be an excellent next step.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow selected customer accounts to achieve sales targets
- Handle all incoming enquiries professionally and efficiently
- Build strong product and industry knowledge to support customers
- Raise and process sales orders, purchase orders, quotations and invoices
- Provide accurate quotations using up-to-date pricing
- Follow up to secure new business and protect margins
- Work closely with procurement to support buying activity
- Liaise with internal departments to meet customer expectations
- Resolve customer queries swiftly and professionally
- Maintain accurate CRM records and filing systems
- Suggest improvements to enhance processes and workflow
- Ensure all work meets ISO9001:2015 and company standards
- General administrative and ad-hoc support as required

About You

- Minimum of 3 GCSEs (including Maths and English at Grade C/4 or above)
- Passionate about sales with a strong customer service background
- Confident using Microsoft Word, Excel and other IT systems
- Experience in a similar sales or internal account role is desirable
- Experience in a distribution environment would be an advantage
